The M57 motorway ( English for M57 motorway ), also known as Liverpool Outer Ring Road known is a 1972 and 1974 put into operation, 16 km long motorway in England , the east of Liverpool in Merseyside from the motorway M62 to just before the M58 motorway leads . It takes its exit (junction 1) at junction 6 of the M62 motorway, runs between Huyton and Prescot in a north-westerly direction, crosses the A580 road , then runs west past Kirkby west to the junction Switch Island in Aintree .
