The released 1975-1983 to traffic M54 motorway ( English for M54 ), also known as Telford dual carriageway , is a 37.0 km long motorway in England . It connects the area around Wolverhampton with Telford and thus forms part of the transport axis from London to Dublin in Ireland (via Holyhead ).
