Lupita Palomera

Lupita Palomera (born December 12, 1923 in Guadalajara , † November 25, 2009 ) was a Mexican singer.

Palomera came to Mexico City in 1934, where Emilio Azcárraga Vidaurreta gave her the opportunity to appear on the XEW radio station La Hora Azul . It quickly became known in Mexico with boleros such as Vereda tropical , Perfidia , Frenesí and Incertidumbre . In 1941 she married the actor and singer Fernando Fernández , with whom she had three daughters. As an actress, she worked in films such as Padre Mercader (1938), El circo trágico (1939) and Nuevo amanecer (1954).
