Lutz Landwehr von Pragenau (born November 13, 1963 in Regensburg ) is a German composer .

Life

Lutz Landwehr von Pragenau first completed his composition studies with Wilhelm Killmayer at the State University for Music and Theater in Munich . This was followed by a master class with Hans-Jürgen von Bose (1992–1994).

His works were u. a. performed at the A • DEvantgarde Festival and as part of the Eurogames .

He received a number of awards a. the music grant from the City of Munich (1994).

He is the conductor of the Regensburg Orchestra at the Singrün and has a teaching position at the University of Regensburg at the Institute for Music Education. Lutz Landwehr von Pragenau lives in Munich.

In the spirit of his mentors Wilhelm Killmayer and Hans-Jürgen von Bose , he is keen to overcome the topos of new music . With his meaningful play of listening expectations, he ties in with the late work of Wilhelm Killmayer and Günter Bialas . Its shapes are reminiscent of the cutting techniques of Hans-Jürgen von Bose - especially his opera Schlachthof 5 .
