The Luxembourg cuisine reflects Luxembourg's position on the borders with the French and German cuisine. Since the 1960s there has been a strong influence of Portuguese and Italian cuisine due to the constant increase in immigrants .

Many national dishes have their origins in the agricultural history of Luxembourg, similar to home-style German cuisine, combined with the elaboration of fine French cuisine.
