The Lyaskovets Peak ( Bulgarian Връх Лясковец Wrach Ljaskowez ) is a 1473 m high mountain on the Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Tangra Mountains it rises 250 m east-northeast of the northwest summit of Mount Friesland and 3.35 km south-southeast of the Tukhchiev Knoll .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 1997 after the town of Lyaskovets in northern Bulgaria.
Lyaskovets Peak was first climbed in 2004 by Lyubomir Ivanov and Doitschin Wasiljew as part of the 13th Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition.
