Lydia Baumgartner (born January 28, 1966 ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Lydia Baumgartner is a qualified expert in surgical technology and works at the Inselspital in Bern . She is married, has two sons and lives in Jegenstorf .

politics

Lydia Baumgartner was elected to the municipal council (executive) of Jegenstorf in 2013. She was confirmed in office in the 2017 municipal elections. She is chairman of the commission for social issues as well as the social commission for the region Jegenstorf and a member of the commission for regional open children and youth work .

In 2018, Baumgartner was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern , where she represents the SP parliamentary group in the security commission.

Lydia Baumgartner is a member of the school commission at the Hofwil grammar school in Münchenbuchsee .
