The Jakobsenknatten ( Norwegian ) is a rocky outcrop in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises in the northern part of the XU-Fjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1985 after the journalist Sigurd Jakobsen (* 1910), a leader of the resistance movement against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
