Lykaon (Trojans)

Lykaon ( Greek  Λυκάων ) is a figure in Greek mythology .

Lykaon was one of the 50 sons of King Priam of Troy , his mother's name was Laothoë . When the Trojan War was underway, while he was cutting fig wood to make wheel rims for his chariot, he was kidnapped by Achilles and sold as a slave to King Euneos of Lemnos . Eëtion paid for the release of his friend Lykaon, who now returned via Arisbe to his father's palace in Troy. After twelve days Lykaon met Achilles again and was brutally killed by him, although he pleaded for mercy. His body was thrown into the scamandros .
