The MÁV IIb were passenger train - tender locomotives of the Hungarian State Railways (MÁV).

MÁV ordered six passenger locomotives in Austria from Sigl in Vienna and Wiener Neustadt .

The MÁV first gave them the numbers 89–91, 97–98 and 129, in the second scheme category IIb with the numbers 1111–1116. From 1911 they were listed as 240.001–006.
