history
Mälarhöjden / Bredäng Hockey was created in 1988 as part of the merger of the clubs Mälarhöjden / Västertorp and Bredäng / Östberga.
The club's women's team was formed in 1998 on the basis of the Nacka HK team and became Swedish champions in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006 . Before the 2006/07 season, the club's women's team was dissolved, and most of the players then switched to the Segeltorps IF and continued their successes there.
