Ylva Lindberg , married. Martinsen , (born June 29, 1976 in Umeå ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player and current coach , who has been in charge of the Swedish U18 national junior team since 2015.

Career

At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City , she won with the Swedish women's team bronze medal in Olympic ice hockey tournament and four years later at the Winter Olympics in Turin , the silver medal. Lindberg also took part in the Winter Olympics in Nagano .

In 2006 she announced that she was in a relationship with her national team colleague Erika Holst .

In 2009 she ended her playing career after 24 years and 190 internationals and became an assistant coach at Segeltorps IF . In 2011 she was promoted to head coach before taking on the same position at AIK Solna in 2012 . In the 2011/12 season, she also looked after the Swedish women's national team as an assistant coach. With the AIK she was again Swedish champion in 2013.

Lindberg has been employed by the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation since 2015 and is the head coach of the U18 national junior team. She looked after them at the World Championships in 2016 (winning the bronze medal) and 2017 . She was also the coach of the Swedish U16 team, which took part in the 2016 Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer and won the gold medal there.
