Fairy tales (Schumann)

The fairy tale stories for clarinet (violin ad libitum), viola and piano op. 132 were written by Robert Schumann between October 9th and 11th, 1853. The individual movements are linked by a core motif . They are dedicated to his student Albert Dietrich . They were published by Breitkopf & Härtel in February 1854 .
