Mónica Matías (born November 22, 1996 in Moca ) is a Puerto Rican tennis player .

Career

From 2014 to 2018 Matías played for the "UCF Knights" , the college tennis team of the University of Central Florida .

At the end of July 2018 she won the bronze medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games in doubles alongside Mónica Puig , and in singles she reached the second round.

Mónica Matías played a total of nine times for the Puerto Rican Fed Cup team in 2011 , 2015 and 2017 , where she won eight of her 12 games, seven of them singles and one doubles.
