Mönchhöfe is a district of the municipality of Achstetten in the district of Biberach in Baden-Württemberg . The hamlet is about 500 meters south of Achstetten.
history
The place is first mentioned in 1481. Mönchhöfe was owned by the Gutenzell monastery and came to the Counts of Toerring in the course of secularization in 1803 . In 1805 the sovereignty over Achstetten with Mönchhöfe fell temporarily to Bavaria , which then ceded it to the Kingdom of Württemberg by the State Treaty of October 13, 1806 .
