Mövsüm Səmədov
Mövsüm Mərdan oğlu Səmədov [ mœvsym mærd̪an ɔɣlʊ sæmæd̪ɔv ] (also Movsum Samadov , * 4. September 1965 in Quba , Azerbaijan SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Shiite mullahs in Azerbaijan and leader of the 1995 banned Shiite " Islamic Party of Azerbaijan " ( Azərbaycan İslam Partiyası , IPA). The trained doctor Səmdov studied theology in Qom . Səmədov was arrested on January 7, 2011 and sentenced on October 7, 2011 to 12 years in prison for terrorism . It is also said to have been an insult to President Ilham Aliyev during a speech on YouTube .
