The Møller Bank ( English ) is a submarine bank off the Mawson coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In Holme Bay , it is at a water depth of at least 32 m at the northern end of Kista Strait at a distance of 1.5 km west of Welch Island .
The Australian hydrograph D'Arcy Thomas Gale (* 1911) mapped it in February 1961 as part of one of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1961 after J. Wennerberg Møller, third mate on board the Thala Dan , who was involved in the survey work required for the mapping.
