Müller is a relatively small impact crater on the front of the moon , which lies in the approximate center of the triangle formed by the large craters Ptolemaeus , Hipparchus and Albategnius . The crater is irregularly shaped and overlaid by a secondary crater in the south.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Czech astronomer Karl Müller .
