Karl Müller (astronomer)

Karl Müller (* 1866 ; † 1942 ) was a civil servant and amateur astronomer .

Together with Mary Adela Blagg , as a retiree in 1935 for the International Astronomical Union (IAU), he created the first uniform and internationally valid nomenclature for lunar craters. Müller lived in Vienna.

The moon crater Müller was named after him.
