The MAN NL 202 (2) is a low-floor bus from MAN Nutzfahrzeuge . In 1992 the NL 202 (2) replaced the MAN NL 202 . From this series onwards, the vehicle has the new internal designation MAN A10 . The visual appearance of the bus largely corresponds to the MAN NL 202. The most important difference was the low-platform arrangement of the seats in the front area up to the center door and a kink in the baseline of the left side window at the height of the stroller area opposite the center door. It was still run as a separate series. Like its predecessor, this bus was available with two and three doors. There is an articulated version of the vehicle under the designation MAN NG 272 (2) .

A natural gas bus version of this construction was also developed in 1994 - under the name MAN NL 232 CNG (A15), or its successor, the MAN NL 233 CNG (CNG for Compressed Natural Gas ).

From 1995 Euro 2 engines were installed and the type designation was changed accordingly to NL 222 , NL 262 and NL 312 .

In 1997 the NL 222, NL 262 and NL 312 were replaced by the MAN A21 (NL 223 / NL 263) and production was discontinued in 1998.

In the meantime, NL 202, NL 222, NL 262 and NL 312 have been and are being phased out by most transport companies .
