MBC Newsdesk (MBC 뉴스 데스크 ) is Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation's (MBC )’ s premier nighttime newscast . Among the major networks ( KBS at 9:00 p.m., JTBC and SBS both at 8:00 p.m.), Newsdesk is considered to be the earliest newscast to air at 7:30 p.m.

history

The newscast premiered on October 5, 1970. Due to the spelling of the time, it was originally called MBC {뉴우스 데스크}.

It was renamed MBC News Park or "MBC 뉴스 의 現場" ( Korean for "local news") in 1976 and renamed MBC Newsdesk again in 1980 .
