MENA region

The acronym MENA is used by Western financial and economic experts for " M iddle E ast & N orth A frica" ​​( Middle East and North Africa ). The term refers to the region from Morocco to Iran .

There is still no fixed definition of the MENA region , but Turkey is usually not included. The term MENAT region is increasingly used for the MENA region, including Turkey .

According to the most common definition, the MENA region has around 380 million inhabitants, which corresponds to around six percent of the world's population.
