MFK Viz-Sinara Yekaterinburg ( Russian мини-футбольный клуб Виз-Синара ) is a Russian futsal club from Yekaterinburg .

history

Yekaterinburg won the Asia Cup twice in a row in the two following years after it was founded in 1992. After these successes, the club was able to play in the top division of Russia, the Super League . There the runner-up was reached four times. When Dynamo Moscow were champions in the 2006/07 season and Yekaterinburg was just one point behind, the club qualified for the UEFA Futsal Cup , as Moscow won it last year and was automatically qualified. That year Viz-Sinara also won the Russian Futsal Cup. In the subsequent UEFA Futsal Cup, the newcomer surprisingly won the tournament by asserting himself in the final against ElPozo Murcia FS in a penalty shootout.
