The MFWE No. 33 and 34 were tank locomotives of the Mecklenburgische Friedrich-Wilhelm-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (MFWE) with the wheel arrangement 1'D1 ' .
history
The two locomotives were built by AEG in 1927 under the serial numbers 3885 and 3886 .
In 1941 the MFWE was nationalized and became part of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR). This lined up the locomotives in the class 93.16 with the numbers 93 1601-1602 .
After 1945 they remained in the Soviet occupation zone . The Deutsche Reichsbahn used them in train service in the 1950s and 1960s on inclined sections of the Reichsbahndirektion Erfurt , including the Wutha – Ruhla railway line .
The 93 1601 was retired on November 30, 1967 and the 93 1602 on November 18, 1968.
