MGness
Markus Gebauer alias MGness (* March 1979 in Münster ) is a German techno DJ .
Markus Gebauer began to gain his first experience in 1992, how to deal with an audience. In 1994 MGness discovered the newly opened record store "Elevator", and a few days later he was employed there. Shortly thereafter, several guest appearances followed in the Cosmic Club , the legendary Münster techno club that was still located at Hawerkamp at the time. From 1996 the Cosmic Club moved its address to the old freight yard; MGness became resident DJ there at the same time . In the following years he made a name for himself by appearing at various events throughout North Rhine-Westphalia , including at Mysticland , X-Mas Bam , Love Parade , Nature One , Mayday and many more.
In 2002 he taught interested newbies the basics and requirements of deejaying in a workshop at Mixery Elevator DJ Move on Ibiza. In 2004 he produced the official anthem for Mysticland 15 (September 25, 2004, Münster, Hawerkampgelände).
MGness represented the homeless Cosmic Club as "ambassador" at parties in various European countries.
After a few live acts, MGness also began to produce vinyl releases. To this end, he teamed up with Oliver Froning ( Dune ) and Kai Niggemann , whose joint record "Re: EP" was released in 2003 under MGness' name on the label "Rawcanine Records" appeared.
In 2013 he founded the techno project Unravel with Chris Stone.
