MJ thread

The MJ threads ( ISO 5855) is a common triangular threads, which in the aviation and aerospace special feed has been found and there a standard for thread represents. It is a modification of the metric ISO thread (see DIN 13 ).

With a larger flattening of the thread core (0.3124 × H instead of 0.25 × H for DIN 13), a larger radius in the thread core is possible (R = 0.18442 × P). As a result, due to the lower notch effect, a higher fatigue strength , depending on the material , is made possible.
