The MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Capital AG (short: MPC Capital, WKN: A1TNWJ ) is an asset and investment manager for asset-based investments based in Hamburg . The company develops and manages investments for institutional investors. The focus is on the three core segments of real estate, shipping and infrastructure. From June 2012 to March 2017, the company was listed in the Entry Standard of the Open Market of Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt; since then there has been a listing in the Scale segment.

Products

In addition to closed capital investments, the product portfolio includes open investment funds and bonds as well as insurance solutions. 122 of these funds are ship holding companies with 221 ships. 104 real estate funds with 303 individual properties and a total rental area of ​​over 2 million square meters were launched. history

The entrepreneurial roots of MPC Holding , the original majority shareholder of MPC Capital, go back to 1846, when Hermann Münchmeyer founded the foreign trade company Münchmeyer & Co. in Hamburg , which was divided into a private commercial bank and a trading house in 1968. In 1972, the trading firm merged with the established in 1911, trading firm Petersen & Co. to MPC Münchmeyer Petersen & Co . MPC Capital was founded in 1994 and has been listed on the stock exchange since 2000 - formerly in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, today in the Scale segment.

On April 1, 2015, MPC Capital took over the majority of the shares in the shipping company Ahrenkiel Steamship and the charterting company Contchart .
