The MTS brand Service GmbH & Co. KG is a subsidiary of Schenker AG , in turn, the German railway belongs Corporation. According to media reports, Deutsche Bahn intends to sell the company. In 2019 the company headquarters was relocated from Karlsruhe to Rülzheim.
