Maçores is a place and a former municipality in northeastern Portugal .

Maçores was the seat of a municipality of the same name ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Torre de Moncorvo in the Bragança district . The community had 169 inhabitants on an area of 15.86 km² (as of June 30, 2011).
The community only came from the place of the same name.
With the territorial reform of September 29, 2013 , the municipalities of Maçores and Felgueiras were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Felgueiras e Maçores .
