Maïssade ( Haitian Mayisad ) is a Haitian community and a place of this community in the Center department . The community has 53,602 inhabitants, the place 11,234 inhabitants (2009). The place is about 50 kilometers west of the border with the Dominican Republic and 64 kilometers from Cap-Haïtien in the north.
