The MaK G 321 B are diesel-hydraulic shunting locomotives from the manufacturer Maschinenbau Kiel (MaK) for industrial railways.

history

The locomotives were produced between 1981 and 1993. In order to keep the price low, the design of the previous MaK G 320 B series was adopted from the second type range. Only a new driver's cab was used; after 1987 the other superstructures were adapted to the new shape. A total of 15 units of this type were built, eight of them with the old and seven with the new bodies.

All locomotives are still in use, they are mainly used on port railways (Cologne, Hamburg, Braunschweig, Rotterdam) and works railways for some companies in the automotive and chemical industries.
