MacKay Lake is a 100 km long and 977 km² large lake in the Northwest Territories of Canada . The total area including islands is 1061 km². The lake is 100 km north of McLeod Bay on the Great Slave Lake . The lake is drained in the extreme northeast by the Lockhart River , a tributary of the Great Slave Lake.
