MacQuarrie Edge is a 760 m high mountain ridge or rocky slope in the East Antarctic Coatsland . In the western section of the Shackleton Range, it looms in the northern part of the Otter Highlands .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1972 after Alastair Stuart MacQuarrie (1935-1970), tractor mechanic of the British Antarctic Survey at Halley Station from 1968 to 1969, who worked in the Shackleton Range.
