Maciej Adamkiewicz

Maciej Marian Adamkiewicz (* 1966 ) is a Polish entrepreneur. As chairman of the board, he heads the Grupa Adamed he formed and - with his wife Małgorzata Adamkiewicz - is one of the richest Poles. The couple's fortunes were estimated at around 275 million euros in the annually updated list of the rich in the Polish edition of Forbes magazine in 2013, placing the couple in 17th place on this list.

Life

Marian Adamkiewicz's son is a doctor of medicine and studied at the Warsaw Medical University . In 1986 he gave up his work as a practicing doctor to work in his father's company, Adamed Sp. Z oo . In 2000 he took over the management and in the following years formed a major Polish pharmaceutical group from the company.

Adamkiewicz is a medical doctor specializing in surgery . He is a member of the International Urogynecological Association and the Polish Society for Meno and Andropause ( Polskiego Towarzystwa Meno i Andropauzy ). He regularly participates as a speaker at national and international medical conferences and publishes in national and international medical journals (e.g. in the International Uroginecology Journal ). Adamkiewicz is a hobby sailor.

In Serock , the entrepreneur and his wife built the four-star hotel "Narvil". The conference and spa hotel, which is located in nature near the Narew , has 332 rooms, 32 conference rooms (a 1650 square meter room can accommodate 1000 participants), a bowling alley and restaurants.
