Polityka ("Politics") is a Polish news magazine . It appears weekly. Politically, a socially liberal profile is ascribed to the demanding magazine.

Polityka is the political magazine with the highest circulation in Poland . With a circulation of 170,000 copies, it has around two million readers per week (as of June 2006). The magazine is said to have had a major impact on the formation of public opinion in Poland. Topics from politics , economy , education , culture in Poland, Europe and the world are dealt with. Correspondents all over the world write their own reports on this. Often recognized professors write analyzes.

The first issue appeared in 1957. Since 1993 the magazine has been awarding the Paszport Polityki Prize to successful cultural workers. Between 2008 and 2012, selected articles from the current edition of Polityka in German translation were published once a week on the website of the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation .
