Maciej Orzechowski

Maciej Bolesław Orzechowski (born May 4, 1971 in Krotoszyn ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Maciej Orzechowski attended the general high school Hugo Kołłątaj in Krotoszyn and then studied medicine. After completing his studies, he returned to his hometown and worked at the local hospital. In addition to his work, he completed a postgraduate degree in economics. In 2002 he became a specialist in gynecology . In the same year Orzechowski was elected to the city council of Krotoszyns and stayed there until 2006. In 2005 he applied, unsuccessfully, for a seat in the Sejm , but was able to move into the Sejmik of the Greater Poland Voivodeship the following year for the Civic Platform . In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 he ran again and was able to win a seat for the Sejm with 14,940 votes in the Kalisz constituency .

Maciej Orzechowski is married and has two sons.
