Mads Timm

Mads Timm (born October 31, 1984 in Odense , Denmark ) is a former Danish football player .

Mads Timm started playing football very early. After a period in the Odense BK youth academy , he moved to Manchester United in 2000 . He made his professional debut in the 2002 UEFA Champions League group game against Maccabi Haifa . He could not fight for a regular place. So he was loaned to the Norwegian first division club Viking Stavanger during the winter break of the 2003/04 season. But even after returning to Manchester, he could not prevail and ended up in the reserve team of the club. So he was loaned to Norway again in winter 2005. This time, however, to Lyn Oslo . When the loan contract expired, he returned to Manchester United to be loaned again in the winter of 2006, but this time to English third division club Walsall . In the summer of 2006 he finally left the English club and moved back to his Danish hometown club Odense BK. There he could not fight for a regular place and came in the first year on 20 missions (one goal). In the second year only on 15 missions in which he scored four goals. In the summer of 2008 he left his hometown and moved to the second division team Lyngby BK . There he signed a one-year contract. However, he only came on one mission and left the club again. In August 2009, at the age of 24, he ended his career due to many injuries.

National team

Mads Timm played 18 times for the youth national teams of Denmark . He was denied a role in the senior national team due to many injuries.
