Maelle Gavet
Maelle Gavet ( French Maëlle Gavet ; * in Paris ) is a French entrepreneur. She has been the managing director of the Russian online mail order company Ozon.ru since 2010 . According to Forbes, Maelle Gavet is one of the most influential women in the world and has already been compared to Jeff Bezos .
Life
Gavet learned Russian as a second foreign language in school. She studied at the Sorbonne , the École normal supérieure , the École normal supérieure Lettres et sciences humaines and at the Institut d'études politiques .
After school she went to Russia for four years, where she founded her first company under the name Predstavitelskij Dom . She then worked as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in France from 2003 to 2009 and was a project manager for the non-profit company Preobrazhenie from 1999 to 2001 . Since 2010 she has been the managing director of Ozon.ru.
