Maen Castle , at Sennen Harbor north of Land's End in Cornwall, is England's westernmost Promontory Fort . It is a good example of the approximately 30 Iron Age fortifications in Cornwall, also known as "Cliff Castle" .

Maen Castle, similar to Newquay Cliff Castle, has two semicircular moats (Treryn Dinas has 3) across the neck of the headland. It is one of the two oldest datable Promontory forts in Cornwall and dates from around 500 BC. Excavations took place in 1939 and 1948–9.
