Magec

Magec was the sun deity of the indigenous people of the Canary Islands , the Guanches .

He (or she) was worshiped mainly during the summer solstice and winter solstice . Legend has it that Magec was locked into the Teide by the devil Guayota , Achamán released him.

Magec's gender is unknown.
