Magnus Øverby is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

On December 2, 1995 Øverby jumped his only jumping in the ski jumping world cup . He managed to win seven World Cup points with a 24th place on the normal hill in Lillehammer . The World Cup season 1995/96 he finished with these seven points on points with Austrian Michael Kury and the Norwegian Kristian Brenden at the 84th place in the overall World Cup standings. After the season Øverby jumped three more years unsuccessfully in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup before he ended his active ski jumping career in 1999.
