The Ski Jumping World Cup 1995/96 (official name: FIS Ski Jumping World Cup 1995/96 ) was one of the International Ski Federation FIS discharged between 2 December 1995 and 17 March 1996, to 21 different locations in Europe, Asia and North America series of competitions in ski jumping . Originally, the implementation of 28 individual competitions and four team competitions was planned. Two individual competitions had to be canceled without replacement. In addition, the two competition days of the ski flying world championship held in Oberstdorf were treated like two additional world cups, so that 28 individual competitions were included in the evaluation. The Austrian defending champion Andreas Goldberger won the overall standings this season , followed by the two Finns Ari-Pekka Nikkola and Janne Ahonen in second and third place . The ski jumping discipline classification, which was held for the first time this season, was won by Ari-Pekka Nikkola ahead of Andreas Goldberger and the Japanese Masahiko Harada . Andreas Goldberger, who was also the defending champion in this classification, won the ski flying classification ahead of Janne Ahonen and the German Christof Duffner . The team from Finland , which had already won the previous year, won the national ranking ahead of Japan and Austria .
