Fredrik Johansson (born July 14, 1974 in the parish of Västerlövsta , Heby municipality ) is a former Swedish ski jumper .

Career

On March 4, 1992 Johansson, who started for the IF Friska Viljor club , competed in a ski jumping World Cup for the first time . In Örnsköldsvik he reached 48th place on the normal hill. A year later he competed again in the World Cup in Liberec . He was able to win his first World Cup points with 13th place on the normal hill and 20th place on the large hill.

At the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer , Johansson jumped 43rd on the normal hill and 40th on the large hill. In the team competition he reached 10th place together with Mikael Martinsson , Staffan Tällberg and Johan Rasmussen .

After the 1994/95 season began only moderately for Johansson, he entered the Continental Cup from 1995 , but remained there without success. In 1995 he was also part of the Swedish squad for the Nordic World Ski Championships in Thunder Bay , and jumped from the normal hill to 30th and from the large hill to 29th place.

At the Swedish Championships in 1996, Johansson won the gold medal from the normal hill. Shortly after, he reached 42nd place at the 1996 World Ski Flying Championships on Kulm .

On January 18, 1997, he was able to jump into the points in Sapporo with 24th place for the first time in two years. However, it was his last point win in the ski jumping World Cup . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1997 in Trondheim , Johansson jumped 42nd on the normal hill (K90) and 51st on the large hill (K120). two weeks later he did his last world cup competition in Falun . After the end of the season he was able to win the gold medal on the normal hill again at the Swedish Championships in 1997.

With the participation in the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1999 in Ramsau am Dachstein , where he was only able to occupy back places, he ended his active ski jumping career.
