Yoshikazu Norota ( Japanese 野 呂 田 義 一 , Norota Yoshikazu ; born March 9, 1972 in Otaru , Hokkaidō ) is a former Japanese ski jumper .

On December 1, 1992, Norota made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup jumping in Thunder Bay, Canada . Since he did not have much success in his first competitions, he mainly jumped in the Continental Cup from 1993 and was initially only used in Japanese World Cup competitions as part of the national group. In Sapporo he was able to jump into the points for the first time on January 22, 1994. He succeeded in doing this several times in the following years, so that from 1998 he was used again in non-Japanese World Cup competitions. He achieved the best individual result of his career on January 11, 1998 in Ramsau am Dachstein with 5th place. Norota could not gain a foothold in the World Cup despite several points and jumped on March 14, 1999 in Oslo his last World Cup competition. He then spent three years in the Continental Cup before ending his career in 2002.
