For the 1994/95 season Koponen jumped again in the World Cup and the Continental Cup. He finished the Four Hills Tournament 1994/95 in the end in 39th place in the overall tournament ranking. He completed the jumping in the World Cup with varying results. So he rarely jumped into the points. He was denied a place in the top ten.
