Marián Bielčik (born August 27, 1973 in Tatranská Lomnica ) is a former Slovak ski jumper .

Career

Bielčik made his debut in the Ski Jumping World Cup for Czechoslovakia on March 30, 1991 . On January 31, 1993, when he came 15th in ski flying on the Kulm, he won World Cup points for the first time. In the 1994/95 season he was finally able to regularly win World Cup points. He finished the Four Hills Tournament 1994/95 after good performances in the end on the 28th place in the overall ranking. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1995 in Thunder Bay , he reached 47th place on the normal hill and 37th place on the large hill. After the World Cup, he rarely managed to jump to the top positions. On December 14, 1996 he succeeded in Harrachov with the 11th place to achieve the best individual result of his career in the World Cup.

From December 1997, Bielcik jumped mainly in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup , in which he had already competed in several competitions since 1993 parallel to the World Cup. After the 1999 season, Bielcik ended his active ski jumping career.
