Eirik Halvorsen (born August 15, 1975 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Halvorsen competed in his first World Cup competition on February 18, 1995 in Vikersund . He finished ski flying in 18th place and won World Cup points in his first jumping. In the second competition he was 38.

For the 1995/96 season he only landed 45th place in the first competition on the normal hill in Lillehammer , but was able to reach 10th place on the large hill the following day. On December 8th he was able to improve his performance in Villach with a 5th place. At the team competition on the large hill in Planica on February 9th, he stood on the podium for the first time together with Espen Bredesen , Roar Ljøkelsøy and Lasse Ottesen and reached 3rd place behind Finland and Japan . In the following competitions it became clear that Halvorsen's strengths lay on the large hills. He always landed on the last places on the normal hills, he always came in the points and several times in the top 10 on the large hills. However, he was able to successfully break the weakness on the normal hills on January 20, 1996 in Sapporo and achieved 2nd place the best result of his career. At the ski flying world championship in 1996 on the Kulm , he finished eighth. At the Norwegian Championships in Meldal in 1996 he won the individual bronze medal on the large hill and the gold medal with the team together with Sturle Holseter , Frode Håre and Clas Brede Bråthen .

After he could not repeat his successes from the beginning of the season and his placements were rather in the back places, Halvorsen already finished after a season in which he was in 16th place in the overall standings after the final competition on March 9, 1996 in Harrachov started his active ski jumping career.
