Mahfooz Aviation was founded in 1992 and is owned by the Saudi Arabian businessman Mahfooz Salem Bin Mahfooz.

Incidents
- On June 19, 2005, a Boeing 707-300C with the aircraft registration number C5-MBM crashed on a transfer flight when landing in Addis Ababa . All five people on board survived, but the plane was destroyed.
