Mahyar Monshipour (* 21st March 1975 in Bam , Iran ) is a former French boxers in the super bantamweight .

He won his first 6 fights, four of them on points and two by knockout. On July 4th, 2003, he defeated Salim Medjkoune by classic knockout and thereby became WBA world champion. He defended this title five times and lost it in March 2006 to Somsak Sithchatchawal by TKo in round 10.
