Salim Medjkoune

Salim Medjkoune (* 4. January 1971 in Aubière , France ) is a former French boxers in the super bantamweight . He was trained by Andre Moins and managed by AB Stars .

He won his first 22 fights and was also European champion in his 21st fight. In 2001 he won the European title again. On October 9, 2002, he defeated Osamu Satō on points and was thereby WBA world champion. The following year he defended the belt against Vincenzo Gigliotti also on points and lost it to Mahyar Monshipour by knockout.
